CURSO DE COCINA

I’ve had this class, along with everyone else in my program, this cooking course. I loved it soo much because the dieta de España is somewhat healthy, something way better than in the states.  Anyway our cooking master was Montsy…. I think that’s how to spell her name but then again that’s just how I say it, so yeah she was so smooth with all her actions. Like peeling a potato was so easy looking… and it was without a peeler, just a knife, which I know how to but not that easy. Anyway I did actually learn a few things in the kitchen. I can say we didn’t participate in class much because of our time limit and with only one kitchen set, we mostly observed what she was doing and just took notes or watched. I was very surprised in the end when we received a certificate of completion AND what the most amazing part was the USB with all the recipes AND more than what we had cooked in class. I think I may take up a new hobby. It may be a beginning of something REALLY NEW AND AMAZING.. Anyway that class became dull after a few weeks.. well just in the ending classes that it became a little hard because there weren’t dishes that could be cooked within our two hour limit, so we went over those easy kines and then again. They were good every time, but it was just that I would have preferred to have done new and complicated things. (Maybe.)  Anyway in conclusion, I in overall learned more than actually intended…. Not only in cooking class did I learn how to peel more effectively but in Spain in general, because Abu, my Spanish grandma, scolded me a little about peeling this one apple. Haha she more laughed at me trying. Anyway I will be home soon to be doing these same skills I’ve learned.
